The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) on June 06, 2025, issued a circular regarding an advisory and alert module in the ENSURE 2.0 Portal.
The following has been stated:-
•NABARD has issued a circular informing Regional Rural Banks, State Cooperative Banks, and District Central Cooperative Banks that the revamped Advisory and Alert Module on the ENSURE 2.0 Portal is now operational.
•Banks are required to access all advisories and alerts exclusively through the portal and submit compliance reports online.
•The circular directs banks to regularly download advisories, implement the prescribed actions, and report compliance to NABARD as per the revised Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
•It also emphasizes that compliance status should be periodically reviewed and reported to the bank’s top management and the Information Security
•Committee/Audit Committee of the Board (ACB). The circular is accompanied by a user guide explaining the creation of Advisory Maker and Checker roles, submission of compliance responses, handling of “Complied,” “In Progress,” and “Not Applicable” statuses, and the approval workflow before submission to NABARD.
•The objective is to strengthen monitoring, accountability, and timely compliance with cybersecurity and operational advisories issued by NABARD.
